Handmade Stuff in Denver

Denver has SOOOO much to offer the aspiring artist.  

One group to get hooked up with is Denver Handmade Alliance.  I joined a couple of months ago, but haven't participated in any events yet - I gotta get up the nerve!

One of their members that has been active lately is Horseshoe Craft and Flea Market.  They feature a lot of talented local artists.

Googley Eye Silliness

Googley Eyes have been a running gag/theme in my art group.  We've challenged ourselves to make a wearable piece of art.  


Today I purchased my supplies.  I used an empty gum container for my eye dispenser.  I could not contain my silliness and had Urban shoot some pics.

Recycled Art

Sisters-in-law and mother-in-law were eating pistachios on our 2010 girl's trip.  I don't like them but thought the shells could be used for something!
